About Me!
Curious about how I spend my free time?
I enjoy learning new things.
Whenever I start to feel restless from reading fantasy fiction novels, painting canvases, wire sculpting, or catching up on "my shows," I begin looking for new interests to occupy my free time.
Below you'll find a list of activities that have occupied (or will occupy) my time and interests,
and hopefully you'll learn a little more about me too!
Historic Preservation & Volunteering
As a history enthusiast, I've spent many summers volunteering and interning to promote local public history. I spent two years doing public Mill House Tours with the Richfeild Historical Society and participating in Maple Syrup harvesting and production the "old fashioned way." Each year, syrup harvested from the grounds is bottled and sold to fundraise for new preservation projects for the park.
I additionally spent a summer as an intern for the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford, WI. During my time here, I gave introductory tours to museum visitors, and cataloged historic documents for preservation and insurance purposes.

If it's warm in Wisconsin, you can usually find me in the water. I've been a swimmer since I was only 6 months old. My grandparents, whom I am very close with, live on an acre of land with a natural, spring-fed pond. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve the time I spent there playing curiously in the water, marveling at diverse aquatic biology, thriving in a mini ecosystem that existed in my backyard. This unique experience in my upbringing helped to foster my passion for the environment and interests in the study of our ecosystem.

As a teenager, I was fortunate enough to have some opportunities to explore different countries in Central America. Naturally, I gravitated towards activities which would bring me closer to the water and its subsurface. These snorkeling excursions are ultimately what motivated my interest in obtaining my certification for Scuba Diving, which I begin classes for in the Spring of 2019!
